The Rev. Paul DeWitt Reid was born near Peoria, Illinois. He prefers to be addressed as “Paul” – or, if you are a traditionalist, “Father Paul”! He lived in nine different places before he was 16, and graduated from Phoenixville High School. He was educated at Penn State University and Edinburgh University, Scotland. He received his Master in Divinity degree with Honors from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and was ordained an Episcopal Priest in 2009.
Paul toured Europe with a national youth choir during High School, and after serving in the US Army, returned to Europe, where he lived for 16 years. Paul is married to Anne, who is from Scotland, and they have two grown sons, Fionn and Liam. The whole family loves music of all types, from all over the world – and all four of them are accomplished choral singers, having sung on both sides of the Atlantic in cathedrals, and in concert halls with major orchestras, conductors, and soloists.
